Jim Ingram is a media professional with nearly 30 years of broadcast and print media experience. His journey began at Wright State University where he earned dual degrees in Communications and Sociology. Upon graduation, he joined the Dayton Bombers Professional Hockey Team as a public relations assistant, eventually becoming the head of the department. In addition to broadcasting, Jim secured other positions within the News Industry — including holding positions as a reporter and twice as editor for Times Community Newspapers, the Centerville-Bellbrook Times and then Greene County Dailies, respectively.
Ingram has worked as a producer for WHIO TV as well as an “all media journalist” with Dayton Daily News where he wrote stories, produced accompanying videos, and hosted live events. He later took on managing all social media platforms for Dayton.com and was recruited a year later as the Communications Director by Miami Valley Community Action Partnership (CAP), a Dayton-area non-profit agency. As the Communications Director, Ingram handled local and international media, social media, outreach, advertising and more. Many of his implementations garnered the agency its most successful period of recognition. Jim stepped away from this role to pursue work as a freelance journalist and social media marketer before joining Infinite Management Solutions where he will apply his expertise; experience; and skillsets to serve as a Technical Writer.
Jim is a lifelong musician and ardent Chicago sports fan.
